When the SE Folk platform launched, it was exactly what I needed. I got involved with SE Folk because I recently set up a charity and needed some guidance. I also wanted to know other people's experience. The network was fantastic. Do you offer a free option?

There’s no free option right now. The value of our network comes from and is paid for by the small subscription costs.

We understand that for some small organisations even £5 a month is a burden and so we are working with bigger organisations to secure sponsoring of subscriptions which may be available in your area in the future.

Do I have to be a member to attend the events?

Yes. Our exclusive online events are for members only as part of the paid membership.

From time to time we may have special one off open to all events.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes absolutely.

Do I need to be part of a social organisation to benefit from SE Folk?

No. SE Folk aims to help budding social entrepreneurs as well as fully fledged ones.

No matter where you are on your journey whether it’s just beginning to explore ideas or a 10 year success story we can help you.

Can charities join?

Yes, absolutely. Charities are an important part of the social organsiational network and the problems and challenges you may face are no different to many social enterprises.

In addition the experiences that you can share will enrich the community and help others.

Do I have to be based in the UK?

At the moment we can only accept members whose organsation is based in the UK

Will SE Folk work on my mobile?

Yes. Our website will work on any device.

We are working on an app for Apple and Andriod devices and this should be ready by the end of summer this year.

What about privacy?

SE Folk is a completely private community. Only members and our panel of experts can access the community and see content.

Additionally within the network you are able to set further privacy restrictions as to who can see what.

Who can join?

You have to be involved in running or developing a social organisation.

Membership is exclusive to social organsiations.

Whilst we have selected ‘guest experts’ we do not entertain any membership from busineses who are not involved in a social organsiational context.
